THE METHOD

every course comes with an olfactorium.

You don’t learn by hearing someone else describe a scent; you learn to smell by smelling. That’s why every course is built around real materials in your hands whether you’re joining us in person or remote. Each course comes with a bespoke olfactorium — a curated kit of the raw materials and accords you’ll smell throughout the course. It’s yours to keep, so you can continue your training even after the course ends.

live cohort

Twice a year, taught live over Zoom by Kathryn, Tami, and Kara. You smell in real time alongside a small group and hear the stories behind each fragrance.

do I need experience?

Introduction to Fragrance assumes none. The Advanced Olfaction Program assumes you’ve taken an intro course or work in the industry.

where do sessions happen?

Live via zoom or on-demand. We also in-person training for private or team training.

where do you ship the olfactorium?

Olfactoriums are shipped directly by Cinquième Sens from Paris — not by us. Shipping is currently available within the U.S.; email us before enrolling if you’re elsewhere.
